Specialized Boonen S-Works Roubaix Frameset
The Specialized Boonen S-Works Roubaix Frameset is quite literally a carbon copy of the frame used by four-time Paris-Roubaix winner Tom Boonen. Crafted for use on the cobbles, this frame is decked out in a real gold leaf colour way, a signal of intent for the bike that the Belgian will ride in his last ever Roubaix.
Benefitting from a Specialized S-Works FACT 11r carbon construction, this Boonen edition of Specialized's renowned frameset remains superlatively light, stiff and responsive, even when set racing across the uneven cobbles of northern France. With an endurance geometry allowing the rider the essential comfort on that high paced, long ride, this frame retains it's speed and stiffness whilst placing you perfectly to challenge for the line.
With a Future Shock suspension integrated into the headset, this frameset allows for 20mm of travel on the bars, meaning that the very worst rumble of the rough stuff needn't cause your hands to fizz. Disc specific for improved braking, this bike comes equipped with the Specialized CG-R FACT Carbon seatpost to assure you of even greater comfort in your ride, allowing you a degree of vibration dampening without compromising the direct transfer of power into the road you have to tackle.
A full carbon fork and with front and rear thru-axles, this frame is equipped with an OSBB bottom bracket making use of CeramicSpeed bearings for the most choice and efficient rotation when turning the crank. Oversized for better stiffness, this frame retains a business end that allows you to tackle the rough and tough stuff with ease.
Internal cable routeing and Di2 compatible, this frameset and, this colour, are set to make that all important appearance under one of cycling's all-time greats, as he charges ever northward on one final Sunday in hell.
