Description
Specialized Phenom Comp Gel Saddle 2014
Well-priced, versatile, comfortable and high performance, the Specialized Phenom Comp Gel Saddle 2014 ticks all these boxes, making it a highly competent training or racing saddle. Designed for with mountain biking in mind, this saddle is just as capable on a road or cyclocross bike as the relatively flat profile, well padded nose and stiff construction makes for a very competent ‘do it all’ saddle.
A solid, stiff, carbon fibre reinforced plastic shell has been used as a lightweight platform which has then had incredibly strong and lightweight Cr-Mo rails bolted onto it.
The relatively flat profile gives the rider plenty of position options, whether it climbing on the rear or smashing the pedals over on the tip of the saddle, either way the saddle will be supportive and comfortable. A padded, slightly dropped nose makes on the drop efforts a lot more bearable and with three unique saddle widths on offer, there should be no problem finding one that will suit you.
An anatomical cut out relieves pressure on the perineum and gel padding allows for all day comfort. Anti scuff rubber guards on the rear add to durability and mean if you do end up crashing you wont ruin the saddle.
In a stylish black colour scheme with subtle Specialized graphics.
