I have a difficult relationship with saddles. Many are fine until I rotate the hips forward to achieve a low position and then I experience discomfort. Recently I settled on the romin evo which was good but still I felt there was a bit more to be gained, so I was excited to read about this saddle and the R&D invested. It was quite difficult to set up right - being so much shorter than most saddles my bottom bracket to saddle nose measurement pretty much went out the window - but having got the position right I can say that this is the comfiest saddle I have used. I can feel a good connection on the seat bones, but even on the drops things I dont feel too much pressure on the soft tissue. There is no space to move around on this saddle but I dont think you should really need to. Top marks for comfort and aesthetics! Price is pretty crazy though...

Specialized S-Works Power Carbon Saddle
Ideally suited to riders who spend a great deal of time in the drops going at speed, Specialized's new short-nosed Specialized S-Works Power Carbon Saddle is designed specifically to provide a great level of comfort for those who like to spend more time in more aggressive aero positions.
The majority of saddles on the market tend to prove uncomfortable for riders who like to spend a lot of time in an aggressive position. Specialized's Body Fit engineers, after extensive testing, came to the conclusion that this discomfort was caused in part by forwarding rotation of the pelvis. This is what led them to this short-nosed, wide-cut-out design, which enhances blood-flow while allowing the rider to maintain power transfer.
It's not just comfort that this saddle has to offer though. Top-end performance and lightweight components mean this saddle is just about ready for anything. A super-stiff FACT carbon fibre shell and FACT carbon fibre rails provide a wonderfully strong base for the saddle while also minimising any weight penalty.
The S-Works Power Carbon Saddle offers elite performance for any rider looking for a pro-level construction for an aggressive riding position.

Reviews
I had one of these on my previous bike and loved it. It allows the super low and aggressive position which I favour and avoids any "discomfort", we all know what I mean. Decided to be "clever" and try a number of different saddles on my new bike, but they were all awful. Upon fitting the new "Power saddle" the bike is transformed, comfort and ride-ability have all improved. I cannot recommend this saddle enough. Perfect for racy types, but also super comfy for 100+ mile rides.

About Specialized
Innovate or die.
Founded in California in 1974, Specialized began with a simple promise: serious riders deserve serious gear. Half a century later, the brand still funds its own wind tunnel, builds its own carbon, and tests every bike with the world's best so that you ride your own best.
The first production mountain bike. The first cycling-specific shoes. FACT carbon, the Win Tunnel, S-Works. Specialized has a habit of building the things the rest of cycling ends up copying.
