Description

Specialized S-Works Prevail 3 Forward 50 Ltd Helmet

Available in strictly limited quantities, the stunning Specialized S-Works Prevail 3 Forward 50 Ltd Helmet features an eye-catching graphical finish and excels wherever you get your road-riding thrills - mountains, valleys, rolling roads, it excels on them all. With an innovative design, Specilaized has optimised ventilation, increasing ventilation surface area by 24.5% compared to the S-Works Prevail II Vent, giving turbo-charged cooling.

Standard helmets tend to use EPS foam to dissipate impact energies. But Specialized don’t do standard. Through their extensive research and development, Specilaized engineers minimised EPS foam, instead turning to more innovative solutions. AirCage technology incorporates woven aramid cables that traverse the helmet and are connected to carbon side panels. When impact occurs, AirCage acts like a suspension bridge, effectively distributing force. As well as enhancing safety, this system is responsible for the significant increase in airflow.

Accompanying AirCage is MIPS' Air Node, their lightest rotational impact protection system, which is incorporated into the padding for improved comfort and integration, with the same safety advantages as standard Mips. In the event of angled impacts, it effectively disperses forces and reduces the risk of a minor or major brain injury.

Fit can be dialled in to suit a wider range of head sizes and shapes thanks to the use of a Mindset micro-dial system and Occipital Base Adjustment and a tri-fix web splitter to ensure strap comfort.

ANGi-ready, sensor is available to be purchased separately.

S-Works Forward 50 Collection

Celebrating 5 decades of cycling innovation, the Specialized S-Works Forward 50 collection is both a celebration of those past achievements and a look forward to another 50 years.

Limited edition colourways and graphics create a stunning splash in the peloton, with the pink calling back to the historic Team Stumpjumper and the rebellious and irreverent spirit the bike captured. With very limited edition supply, it’s your chance to not only own a stunning Specialized product but also own a small part of the ongoing story as it unfolds.
