The 4.8cm valve base reduces incidents of the valve shearing off, and the valve head is smooth to make pump use easier.
Used these for many years now, for a race tube they are pretty good for puncture resistance. Roll well. Particularly like the fact that they are small to fit in pocket. Beware they have increased the amount of talc on these gets everywhere when you take it out of the bag!
