The Stages Cycling Shimano DXR MX71 Power Meter Crank Left Arm (2nd Gen) fits all current generation DXR cranksets and provides you with an option to add power to your current BMX set up, with an accuracy of +/- 2%.

Choose a crank length of 175mm or 180mm and then install in place of your non-drive crank arm so there is no interference with drivetrain components.

This power meter is contains ANT+ and Bluetooth technology and is compatible with all ANT+ cycling computers and the latest smart phones.

Improvements from the previous generation include increased strength and a 28% lower profile with a 17% reduction in frontal area for a sleeker design. A new design for the housing increases the battery door strength and housing connection by 200%.

There is a long, 200 hour battery life and when this does run out the battery can be replaced with ease, without the need for tools. Additionally, the DXR MX71 includes accelerometer based cadence measurement and firmware can be upgraded wirelessly so your power meter is always up to date.

Is my bike compatible with Stages Power Meters?

To help find your current crank model, check the inside of the crank arm for the model and length.

The next step is to check the power meter's compatibility with your frame; if the space between your crank arm and seat stay fits a 10mm allen wrench between 5cm and 12cm from the centre of your bottom bracket, this should be compatible.
