Trek were already market leaders when it came to cyclocross bikes and frames, but having worked with the likes of Sven Nys and other professionals they have been able to make the Trek Boone Disc Cyclocross Frameset even better for 2016. Introducing their lightest, fastest and smoothest cyclocross frame ever, the Boone.

Disc brake and front 15 millimetre thru-axle ready, the designers at Trek have opted for this setup to offer exceptional control.

The cyclocross specific full carbon fibre IsoSpeed fork and steerer adds comfort and refines steering. This carbon fibre addition sits beautifully with the 600 Series OCLV carbon fibre frame, which features an E2 tapered head tube and internal cable routing to give the frameset a clean, uncluttered look, as well as making it compatible with electronic groupsets, so you can build this frame with the drivetrain of your choice.

The improved stopping power of disc brakes has necessitated the incorporation of a 15 millimetre front through axle to give you the most precise steering and control. Do not worry though, the quick release feature still allows for rapid wheel changes.

Another exciting feature is the IsoSpeed technology that allows you to take on any terrain. To accomplish this in comfort, Trek have designed the seat tube to be able to rotate separately from the top-tube-to-seatstay junction. This gives you vertical compliance at twice the level of any other bike. This enables you to ride flat out for more time than anyone else. Comfort is further enhanced by the No-cut Ride Tuned seatmast to keep you in top form. Combine this with something like the Bontrager IsoZone handlebar for the smoothest ride possible.

Keeping the stunning green and black paint scheme in pristine condition, Trek have added a 3S chain keeper and hidden mudguard mounts.

The BB90 bottom bracket is a reliable option whilst also being the widest on the market to offer you superb accelerations thanks to its light and stiff construction. This frameset also includes an FSA integrated headset housing sealed cartridge bearings. A neat touch to prevent water and dirt from damaging the frameset.
