I had to buy a replacement seatpost after a bit of a mishap; Sigma is a good seller of Trek products. However, the Trek saddle clamp has an odd way of holding the saddle rails and in this seatpost, the internal "ears" inside the top of the post got stuck fast before I could adjust my saddle into the right angle. It's taken more than a couple of goes and some added grease to get it right.

Any idea what the recommendation is for min insertion of seat tube into the top mast? I.e. when should you got to the longer seat cap?

I have the Emonda SL 6 Pro Disc 2021 with a 58 frame which us a little too high. I believe it comes with a 175 mm mast and was wondering if I bought the 135 mm mast that it would be compatible and enable me to lower the saddle a little?
