The bib straps are also wider, softer, stretchy and breathable, so sit smoothly under a tight race fit jersey.
A wider, longer and thicker pad - the Elastic Interface® Road Performance Space 2 - has a higher density rating for all-day comfort. In line with the brand's environmentally and socially conscious ethos, the chamois uses recycled fabrics and includes a high-performance bio-based foam layer, with 60% of its components of plant-based origin. Filtering harmful UV rays, the main short fabric protects the skin, while reflective details protect the rider when riding in low light.

The most expensive bib shorts I have owned to date and they are worth every penny. The fit is perfect. I am 73kg 5'10" and slim/athletic build - the medium is spot on. They are a compressed fit that stays in place. The new version is nice and high at the front and the straps keep the font taught to not crumple when down on the drops for extended periods. The price is more palatable when purchased as a bundle with a top which I also like.
Strarted off well, great fit, nice leg grippers and then after a few wears with gentle washes the leg grippers and bib length slide up as I’m riding, material bunching up and look silly as too short.
