Vel Adventure Luggage Frame & Handlebar Bundle

The Adventure Luggage Frame & Handlebar Pack Bundle from Vel is a good way to increase a bike’s carrying capacity for longer rides or ventures off the beaten track.

The Handlebar Bag adds 7 litres of space for spare layers, food and other essentials with a versatile roll closure which ensures that the bag can adapt to large or small loads whilst also sealing it off completely from any rain. The purge valve allows any air to be removed from the bag to compress it as much as possible and the robust Hypalon / Velcro straps hold it firmly in place on the handlebar, be they mountain bike or road bike style. There is an external daisy chain for attaching a front light and a bungee cord to compress the bag further or to stash a jacket under.

As it sits under the top tube, the 2L Frame Bag is a good place to carry heavier items such as food or tent poles without making the bike feel unwieldy. Multiple Hypalon / Velcro straps attach the bag securely in place and the robust waterproof fabric does a good job of protecting the bag’s contents from any rain or road spray. Both bags benefit from reflective branding to increase visibility in low light.
