Veloflex Corsa Evo TLR Tyre
The Italian made Veloflex Corsa Evo TLR Tyre is a tubeless-compatible option, with an AirLock membrane to help keep the air in when used without an inner tube. Using a combination of natural rubber and silica, with a textured RainDrop pattern, both grip and rolling resistance are excellent. Underneath the tread sits a Resilient Kinetic Belt to help prevent punctures whilst the 320TPI corespun casing ensures a smooth, supple ride quality. The Sidewall Protection System acts to strengthen the contact area between the tyre and the rim, making it suitable for use with all carbon rims.
Tubeless sealant
After testing, Veloflex has found that latex sealants are necessary to seal the TLR clincher tyres, due to the affinity with their latex-coated cotton casings.
Veloflex recommends the following sealants:
- Joe’s no flats – Super Sealant
- Mavic – Tire Sealant
- Stan’s no tubes – Tire Sealant
- Orange Seal - Regular Sealant (only for clinchers with black sidewalls)
