Vittoria’s Corsa N.EXT Road Tyre is aimed at committed riders and racers who don’t want to sacrifice durability for performance. The nylon casing helps increase the tyre’s longevity whilst the mix of silica and graphene in the rubber compound provides low rolling resistance and grip as well as contributing to its longevity. Weight is impressively low, especially considering its wear-life and the tread pattern has been proven at WorldTour level, so it won't be short of grip.
I think I had some bad luck initially with these tyres as I ripped the side wall which caused a massive blow out. Since then, touch wood, with a new tyre mounted, I have done over 1000km on these on the foul British winter roads without incident. They roll nicely, went onto my DT Swiss ERC1100 easily and I’m impressed by how they grip on wet and dirty roads. Difficult to fault.
Robust tyres that are great for UK winter riding. Grip in the wet is excellent. Slightly slower than the Schwalbe Ones that they replaced.
