At 49 grams in net weight, the XLab Gorilla XT Bottle Cage provides the rider with a high-quality carbon fibre bottle cage to securely hold your fluids when riding at your absolute maximum. Gripping your bottle with over 14lbs or 6 kilos of grip force, you can be certain that your bottle doesn't wriggle, rattle, or budge when housed in the cage.
Ideal for single rear bottle carriers or horizontal mounting, the tall sides of this cage are designed to improve the hold of this cage when transporting larger bidons. The choice of world champions, the flared entry allowing for a fast and easy insertion at a moment's notice, you can be sure of a supremely usable and perfected little cage, remaining light and not weighing down your ride when every small detail counts.
My water bottles are mounted horizontal and have not lost a bottle since fitting these. Really secure grip. Bottles need a bit of wiggling to get them out and xlab Gorilla bottle cages at half the grip might be better. But nice no longer losing bottles on rough roads or fast downhills.
Super Grippy holds bottles well even in horizontal BTA position on TT bike.
