At the core of the wheels are German-engineered ZR1 disc brake sealed hubs that are incredibly versatile, with 66 points of engagement for almost instantaneous response. Each hub is laced to the full carbon rim by 24 Sapim CX Sprint J-bend spokes, for a strong, stiff build. The rim itself is 45mm deep, providing a good balance of aerodynamics and stability and the 25mm width has been optimised for use with wider tyres, either tube-type or tubeless thanks to the hooked design, so you can take advantage of the lower rolling resistance, improved puncture protection and increased comfort that running lower air pressures brings.
