Representing the latest innovations in clincher wheel technology, the Zipp 404 Firecrest Carbon Clincher Rear Wheel is built to perform. Handcrafted in Indiana with the attention to detail Zipp are renowned for, this wheel weighs in at just 905 grams and is durable and strong.
The top end Zipp 177 hub is laced to the rim by 24 Sapim® CX-Sprint® spokes and provides fast engagement and smooth rolling. Strong and stiff, it will ensure all your power is transferred through the pedal and onto the road. The deep 58mm rims complete with ABLC™ Sawtooth™ dimples ensure you cut through the air with reduced drag while remaining highly stable in crosswinds, making this a wheel that can be relied on in all conditions.
Another highlight is Zipp's new ShowStopper™ textured braking surface that includes grooves to clear water faster, therefore improving stopping power, even in the wet. Compatible with either 10 or 11-speed Shimano/SRAM or Campagnolo, this wheel will suit almost any rider setup.
