With requests from Ironman professionals Zone3 have developed a Swimskin that is praised by Tyler Butterfield for it's excellent drag reduction and compression, which allows him to have a faster and more energy efficient swim. This is just what every athlete needs when the water gets too warm for a wetsuit, and a Swimskin is the savior for that added boost.

The suit is designed to go over your existing triathlon race uniform therefore offering great body coverage. Zone3 understand the need to be super fast through the water. All seams on the Swimskin are glued and heat bonded for maximum comfort throughout the long distances and to minimise drag. A zip with an attached chord makes removing the suit easy in transition.

The Swimskin has been widely talked about in triathlon circles as it has been in development for several years. Everyone wants to get their hands on it because it is said to be so fast. Zone3 have used a number of fabrics in the Swimskin's development before finally settling on X2R for the front and Energy-D on the back.

The X2R fabric is one of the lightest and fastest fabrics available and is extremely hydrophobic with a water absorption rate of only 5%.

The Energy-D fabric on the legs offer superior compression and water channeling. This means it helps you move through the water super fast.
