Roval Terra Aero CL Front Wheel

Engineered to slice through wind resistance while delivering pinpoint handling, the Roval Terra Aero CL front wheel brings pro-level speed to everyday gravel riders and racers. Sharing the exact Chopped Aero Speed rim profile as the flagship Terra Aero CLX wheelset, this 50mm deep carbon rim optimizes airflow across high speeds without compromising crosswind stability. Its generous 27mm internal rim width paired with a thick 5.38mm bead hook provides Roval’s FlatStop protection, creating a wider rim bed that dramatically reduces pinch-flat risks when charging over embedded rocks and washboard tracks. Designed to pair with tyres ranging from 35mm to 60mm, it allows you to run lower tyre pressures for ultimate traction, reduced rolling resistance, and superior front-end compliance across unpredictable terrain.

Precision Steering and Trusted Hub Mechanics

To handle intense braking loads and sharp high-speed cornering, the wheel pairs its aerodynamic carbon rim with a dependable DT Swiss 350 straight pull centerlock hub. Laced with 21 DT Swiss Competition Race spokes in a 2:1 pattern, the build balances spoke tension across both sides of the front wheel to ensure sharp, predictable steering control and high lateral stiffness. Standard DT Swiss stainless steel bearings deliver smooth, low-friction rolling efficiency while requiring minimal maintenance over long distances. The straight pull design and readily available DT Swiss service parts mean long-term maintenance is straightforward and hassle-free, keeping you focused on the ride ahead.

Maximum Versatility for Modern Off-Road Setup

Built to adapt seamlessly to modern off-road preferences, the hooked carbon clincher rim accommodates both tubeless and traditional inner tube configurations with ease. The wheel comes ready for instant tubeless setup out of the box, complete with pre-installed 30mm tubeless rim tape and a 70mm alloy tubeless valve stem designed specifically for the 50mm rim depth. Centerlock disc brake compatibility ensures powerful, controlled stopping performance in muddy, wet, or steep mountain conditions. Weighing 770g complete with tape and valves and backed by Roval’s limited lifetime warranty, the Terra Aero CL front wheel is the definitive upgrade for riders seeking aerodynamic speed, pinch-flat immunity, and robust durability.
