Tyre Levers

The most-used tool in any cyclist's kit. Whether you're changing a tube at the roadside, setting up tubeless at home, or removing a stubborn tyre on deep-section carbon rims, a quality tyre lever makes the job safe, quick, and rim-friendly. The wrong tyre lever on a carbon rim risks scratching or cracking the braking surface, and a poorly made lever will snap under the force a tight road tyre requires.

Should I Carry a Tyre Lever on a Ride?

A saddle bag or jersey pocket setup should include at minimum: two tyre levers, a spare inner tube (even on tubeless bikes as a failure backup), tyre plugs if tubeless, and a CO₂ inflator or mini pump. Compact plastic levers weigh almost nothing, there's no reason not to carry them.

Inner tubes keep a spare matched to your tyre size and valve type

Tubeless plugs / repair kit for roadside tubeless puncture repair without removing the tyre

CO₂ inflators faster than a pump for roadside inflation; useful paired with a mini pump as backup
