Description
Performance & Use Case
The C-Bear BB386EVO Ceramic Bottom Bracket is the upgrade for any frameset built around the BB386EVO press-fit standard. Replacing the stock bearings with sealed ceramic units delivers measurably lower rolling resistance through the pedal stroke. For road riders chasing efficiency on a wide-shell frame, it is a small upgrade that pays back across every long ride.
Construction & Materials
Each cup is CNC machined from solid aluminium to the precision tolerances the BB386EVO standard demands, then paired with a sealed C-Bear ceramic bearing. The ceramic running surfaces are harder and smoother than steel, which means lower rolling friction and a longer service interval than a typical alloy bottom bracket.
Compatibility
Fits any BB386EVO press-fit frameset - 46mm shell diameter, 86.5mm shell width. Two spindle-compatibility options cover Shimano Hollowtech II (24mm) and SRAM DUB (28.99mm) cranksets. Compatible cranks include FSA Mega Exo, Race Face X-Type and Rotor 3D, Agilis, Rex 3 where the spindle diameter aligns. Select the variant that matches your existing crankset.
