Cannondale CAAD Optimo 4 Road Bike 2023
The heart of the Cannondale CAAD Optimo 4 Road Bike is its SmartForm C2 aluminium frame that features sophisticated tube shapes, precision butting and clean welds to ensure low weight and rigidity for a responsive ride experience. Additionally, dropped seatstays and SAVE engineered flex zones at the rear of the frame promote excellent comfort levels over rough surfaces. Partnering with the frame, the carbon fork damps road vibrations and grants heightened lateral stiffness for powerful out-of-the-saddle accelerations.
The frame and fork are linked via Cannondale’s Elite Race geometry to guarantee agile handling and position the rider comfortably and powerfully over the drivetrain. Strong but light wheels are driven by a crisp-shifting Shimano Claris 8-speed gear setup with a wide range of ratios to ensure smooth passage over any parcours. Traditional caliper rim brakes promise low maintenance, and a stiff, lightweight alloy handlebar and stem combination make sure that steering is nimble and predictable. Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
