The CAAD13 frame utilises state-of-the-art SmartForm C1 Premium Alloy that is unique to Cannondale, and this keeps the weight low but also maximises stiffness and efficiency to facilitate fast climbing and snappy sprinting. Each frame tube section possesses a truncated airfoil cross-section, and this lowers drag for increased speed when the pace is at its highest. At the same time, the SAVE tuned rear triangle smooths road bumps to give a more cushioned and less fatiguing ride.

The full carbon fork complements the frame by damping road buzz while clearance for 30mm wide tyres improves comfort and control across any road surface. The frameset is realised with a race-inspired geometry that places the rider in the perfect position for power transfer and nimble handling.

Dependable performance is provided by the Cannondale RD 2.0 wheelset with its lightweight alloy rim donating sharp acceleration and rough road resilience. The Shimano 105 gear configuration changes sharply across its ratios allowing quick reaction to pace changes when racing.
