MET Rivale MIPS Road Cycling Helmet

Incorporating the MIPS-C2 Brain Protection System, MET's Rivale MIPS Road Helmet has been designed to keep you safe should you be unfortunate enough to be involved in an accident. MIPS is a technology that disperses the force of an impact, lessening the effects on the brain. This has been combined with an in-mould polycarbonate shell and an EPS liner, to add an additional level of protection.

Dialling in the perfect fit is made possible with the help of a Safe-T Upsilon Fit System. Easy to adjust on the move, this works alongside a 360-degree head belt, with vertical adjustment and an adjustable cam divider. Air Mesh comfort pads and Air Lite straps aid moisture transfer, while a sunglasses port make storing your shades a simple and secure task when you no longer wish to wear them.

On-road visibility is enhanced with the addition of reflective rear decals, ensuring you are visible day or night.

Well happy with it - looks great, decent air flow, a hint of aero & dead easy to adjust. Straps can be adjusted around the ears unlike other brands which I found to cause issues. Note: no slots for sunglasses.

A nice shade of red, that really flows when the sun catches it, makes this helmet great for riding on sunny days. The helmet is sleek and smart, fitting my head well. There is generous venting at the front of the helmet, leading to the oversize exhaust vents at the back. Comfortable to wear, with easy strap adjustments, dial-in closure, and of course MIPS. I don't plan to try that feature out, but it's reassuring to know that there is an additional safety feature. I think it's a great helmet.

  2. My head circumference measures 54cm and my old MET Stradivarius helmet is a Medium (51 - 57cm on the label) what size would work best for me on the new MET Rivale as the MET sizing has changed since purchasing my old MET?

Asked by Fishwithoutabicycle (South East) —

    1. Hi there, Looking at the sizing on the new Helmet I think you should be ok going for the Small, There is still abit of wiggle room incase you want to wear something under the helmet in the winter, Many thanks Joe W
