Cannondale Habit Carbon 2 27.5R Mountain Bike 2017
Cannondale have been at the forefront of mountain bike innovation for the past decade, and the Cannondale Habit Carbon 2 27.5R Mountain Bike 2017 pays testament to this with its beautiful blend of a lightweight, strong frame, highly-capable components and a price point that’s incredibly enticing for any mountain biker.
The frame is constructed from their renowned BallisTec Carbon that enhances durability, reduces weight and keeps everything easy to control, giving you the freedom to manoeuvre around rock gardens, not through them.
Cannondale’s Lefty 2.0 Alloy reduces the weight of the front fork thanks to its left sided design, but it doesn’t skimp on any of the technology and impact absorption you need when on the trail. The lighter weight allows for greater control of the front end, whilst the 120mm travel and Trail+ tune has been designed to improve comfort and keeps everything planted.
RockShox’s Monarch DebonAir XX rear shock works alongside the front fork, whilst the integration with Shimano’s XT 180mm disc brakes increases confidence in the descents during a whole host of weather conditions. These brakes modulate heat efficiently and when used on the descents, come into their own with Shimano’s XT 11-Speed gearing system.
The wide range of gears on offer allows riders of all abilities to fine tune their riding style, allowing you to spin up climbs with ease or sprint along the flats. The Cannondale HollowGram Si crankset withstands rockstrikes, too.
Stans Arch Ex MK3 wheels are used to increase efficiently thanks to their lightweight nature, but also soak up impacts without missing a beat. Their tubeless ready nature gives easy conversions, whilst Schwalbe Nobby Nic SnakeSkin tyres follow suit, giving incredible grip and puncture protection when shredding the trails.
A Fox Transfer dropper post offers great versatility to chop and change position, giving you a lower centre of gravity on the descents but a more efficient position when climbing.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. Visit our Bike Assembly page to see how you assemble your new bike once you receive it.
All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
