Cannondale Scalpel-SI Carbon 2 SE 29 Mountain Bike 2018
The Cannondale Scalpel-SI Carbon 2 SE 29 Mountain Bike 2018 is a cross-country machine that offers peak response, speed and style as you ride. Boasting a BallisTec carbon fibre construction, this bike retains top-level strength and response, allowing you to get your power down and tackle rough, tough terrain in confidence.
Shock absorption provided by means of a Fox Float 34 front fork, you can benefit from 120mm of travel, cushioning your ride. With a Fox Float Performance rear shock designed to offer a further 115mm of travel, this bike is well equipped to deal with the biggest drops and largest obstacles that you might find out there.
Using SRAM Eagle componentry, this bike offers a direct one-by set up and a full 12-speed transmission. Wide-ranging at 10-50 teeth over the rear cassette, this bike makes tackling steep and short gradients a good deal easier. With hydraulic disc brakes the last element on the control side of things, you benefit from impressive modulated braking forces.
With a tubeless ready clincher wheelset delivering rugged performance, this bike is finished with 2.4-inch Maxxis Ardent tyres for biting grip out on wet and slippery stuff.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
