Cannondale Slate SE Apex 27.5" Disc Adventure Bike 2019
With the Slate SE Apex 650b Disc Adventure Bike, there is no limit to your riding. Whether you're cruising towpaths, shredding some local trails, or tackling some arduous cross-country terrain, the Slate can take everything in its stride. Featuring a tough yet lightweight Smartform alloy frame, this bike remains light enough for all ay riding adventures but is still robust enough for the rough and tumble of off-road riding.
The centrepiece of this bike, however, is the Cannondale Lefty Oliver fork - a ground-breaking single-sided suspension fork that delivers 30mm of travel, providing a plush and comfortable ride that soaks up even the harshest vibration with ease. The innovative single-sided design boasts a significant weight saving over traditional suspension forks, and also creates a stiffer system overall for improved ride quality and incredibly precise handling.
The SRAM Apex groupset lends the bike shifting that is both reliable and slick, with the pared-down 1x system providing a minimalist setup that excels in muddy, adverse conditions. The hydraulic disc brakes, meanwhile, guarantee effective and reliable stopping power in all conditions, the entire year round.
With wide 27.5" x 42c WTB tyres providing great grip and control even on muddy singletracks, this is the perfect bike for tackling the road less travelled.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
