Cannondale Synapse Carbon 3 L Disc Road Bike 2022
With its all-new frame and smart features, the Cannondale Synapse Carbon 3 L Disc Road Bike is the next evolution in comfort and speed on the tarmac. Redesigned for this latest edition, the Synapse takes all the features for which it was lauded and improves them. Enhanced frame compliance increases comfort on rough terrain, damping vibrations to reduce fatigue on longer rides. It's no slouch, however, with targeted stiffness allowing for rapid acceleration and responsive geometry ensuring precise handling.
For 2022 the Synapse range incorporates SmartSense features, with this L edition featuring integrated front and rear lights with an ambient light sensor for an automatic on/off toggle. A BSA threaded bottom bracket reduces the risk of unwanted creaks, and tube-in-tube internal routing makes home maintenance all the easier.
The lightweight frame uses a Proportional Response carbon construction, which features a unique layup for each frame size, keeping the ride quality consistent across the range. Hidden mudguard mounts boost versatility, and the wide frame clearance sees enough room for up to 35c tyres.
An 11-speed Shimano 105 drivetrain offers excellent durability and crisp shifting performance whilst allowing the drivetrain to be upgraded with 11-speed Ultegra or Dura-Ace components once they need replacing. Hydraulic Shimano disc brakes create consistent braking performance in all weathers, with their smooth power delivery bringing confidence on steep descents.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. Visit our Bike Assembly page to see how you assemble your new bike once you receive it.
All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
