Castelli Squall Shell Men's Waterproof Cycling Jacket
The Castelli Squall Shell Jacket is for the days when the forecast predicts rain, but it's also a jacket you can take on any ride, just in case. The 2-layer stretch fabric features a waterproof membrane to prevent water from getting inside and it's windproof too, taking off the chill of a mountain descent or a sudden drop in temperature due to chilly winds. Elastic waist and wrist cuffs keep out the elements and a reflective rear stripe makes you easier to see when cycling in low-light conditions.
Once conditions improve, the packability and low weight of the jacket, weighing just 94 grams, make it easy to roll up and stash in a jersey pocket. It's brilliant for an epic Fondo in the mountains or a long training day where the weather is unpredictable.

This jacket is very light, allmost shear. Only used out in light shower so far, but coped with that and keeps the wind off. But I would be very suprised if it proves durable and remains waterproof. It does not fold into a pocket, so difficult to manage in a jersey pocket. As with everything Castelli it is sized for Italian racing snakes. It sizes very small, but is stretchy.
