The UPF 50 is protecting me nicely from the sun. I have been riding in 29°C to 31°C and did not feel hot (it feels as if the sleeves cool you down with the lightest breeze). I knocked off one star because I have only done a couple of 100k rides with it, and I would like to see how the silicone holds up after a few washes and on longer rides. I have version 1 of the arm sleeves for the same reason, and they have been holding up great for over a year now.
