Vest Review: The vest is great lightweight, breathable, and made from durable fabric. It has a small back pocket that fits keys, an AirPods case, and you can just about squeeze in a thin windbreaker. The front pockets are good for a mobile phone and energy bars, products don’t move around too much. The vest adjusts well to your body shape generally everything stays pretty fixed when you're on the move, with minimal jiggling. What I don’t like are the hydration packs, which are frankly useless. The TPU silicone tops come off too easily when you drink, spraying water everywhere. It's just a bad design, so definite points down for that. There is space for a CamelBak on the back, which I think would be a much better setup.

The Patagonia Slope Runner Vest is designed to carry all your essentials when running trails on a big day out. It makes space for hydration, nutrition and the extra layers you may need when running from dawn to dusk and even beyond. The front is made from soft and flexible polyester, ensuring lightweight comfort, while the durable water-repellent (DWR) finish adds some extra protection in damp, drizzly conditions. To the back the hydrophobic mono-mesh panel regulates body temperature, allowing for airflow and breathability for all-day freshness.
Water-bottle-friendly stretch pockets keep your hydration easily accessible, with two 500ml HydraPak® flasks included to slip into the pockets perfectly. Trekking poles are easily stowed via two sets of elastic loops, one to the front of the pack for easy access, and the other tucked away to the back.
