DT Swiss ARC 1100 WTS 85 Carbon Front Wheel

Made in DT's European facility, the third generation DT Swiss ARC 1100 WTS 85 Carbon Front Wheel uses a fully proprietary carbon rim and Continental Aero 111 Tyre developed in conjunction with the Aero research team at Swiss Side and extensively tested at the GST wind tunnel just over the border in Germany.

DT Swiss 1100 Rim Design

The new rim design features a 22 mm internal width optimised for 28-30 mm tyres in a unique hybrid V-shape. This allows the use of deeper rims while providing superior crosswind stability compared to previous shallower designs.

DT Swiss 1100 DICUT Carbon Construction

The rim's construction takes advantage of developments in DT's in-house carbon manufacturing, with a further refined carbon lay-up and perfect 'out of the mold' finish requiring no additional cosmetic veneer.

DT Swiss Quality Control

Every rim produced is scanned internally so each individual layer of carbon can be checked prior to assembly. The result is a weight saving of up to 158 grams per pair compared to the previous generation, despite being both wider and deeper.

DT Swiss Hub Design

The wheel features DICUT 180 hubs with 36-tooth Ratchet EXP and SiNC ceramic bearings, providing a lightweight, simple, and low-drag hub that remains just as reliable and easy to service as the legendary 240.

DT Swiss Spokes

DT and Swiss Side's ongoing research into rotational drag and its effect on performance has led to the premium Aerolite II spokes used throughout these wheelsets.
