DT Swiss ERC 1400 DICUT 45mm Disc Brake Rear Wheel

Combining aerodynamics, handling and reliability, DT Swiss’ ERC 1400 DICUT 45mm Disc Brake Rear Wheel is ideal for long, fast rides.

As part of their Endurance range, the rim has been redesigned for use with wider tyres between 28mm and 32mm which offer greater comfort and control than narrower rubber; an internal width of 22mm adds extra support and stability to the tyre’s sidewalls and allows maximum air volume. The hooked, tubeless-ready design of the carbon rim can be used with clinchers too, giving a huge range of options when it comes to tyre choice whilst the 45mm depth affords a decent aero advantage without becoming unruly in crosswinds.

Using DT Swiss’ renowned Ratchet EXP 36 freehub, the 240 hubs are quick to accelerate and very reliable, thanks to the multiple points of contact afforded by the ratchet system. Smooth, low friction sealed bearings keep maintenance requirements to a minimum and the clever t-head design of the bladed DT aero comp spokes ensures that they are always held in the correct orientation.
