1) Measure around the chest at the fullest part just under the arms.
2) Measure around the waist over the belly button.
I have a couple of different base layers but have been enjoying the added features of merino wool in various jerseys etc lately, so this base layer was the perfect choice. It keeps me warmer and less sweaty than others I own, and it doesn't retain the smell that you can't get out of other fabrics even after washing. Highly recommend this one for rides between 0 and 10 Celsius. It was perfect for the extra cold days we've had lately.
Eventually replaced my old white ones. Lovely close fit. Very light but totally cosy. Even in the recent snowy weather.
