The Factor Bikes Vis Vires advances road bike technology through engineering innovations which mark the next step in road bike evolution. With groundbreaking design features such as the revolutionary split downtube and dual bladed fork, the Vis Vires is a high end bike for the discerning cyclist looking for a bike that pushes the boundaries to achieve optimised performance.
Every detail on the Vis Vires has been scrutinised and only included if it is deemed to provide a distinct advantage to the rider. Rather than a bike that is designed to just look different or 'fast' the Vis Vires' appearance is a product of extreme testing and engineering ingenuity.
There is full internal cable routing with fully enclosed housing for excellent grime protection, even in the worse of UK conditions.
An integrated speedsensor and wheel magnet that seamlessly communicates with the colour matched, Factor branded, Garmin Edge 810 included with the bike.
The Factor Vis Vires also ships with a Factor Bikes branded Sci'Con AeroComfort TSA 2.0 bike bag.
Features
Split DowntubeOne of the first distinct features you will notice about the Vis Vires is the unique gap in the middle of the downtube which extends down the length of the downtube and under the bottom bracket. This channel allows turbulant air from the front wheel to pass through instead of being forced around the downtube. This design offers 100g grams of increased aerodynamic efficiency, this equates to a 1 second per kilometer advantage, when compared to a non-split downtube design. The split design not only offers an aero advantage but also adds increased torsional stiffness and rigidity. |

Dual Bladed ForkFactor Bikes' dual bladed fork design unites the stem with the fork to offer unparralled response and a truely unique ride experience. Bikes with a traditonal stem and fork design will produce flex between these two elements, this creates a disconnect between the input (your steering of the handlebars) and the output (direction of wheel affected by forks). The Vis Vires' unified stem and fork provides a direct connection from what you do with the handlebars to what happens to the bike. |
