Focus Cayo Team Replica Force Road Bike 2016
It is not often that you can boast a World Tour replica bike for less than £2000 but with the Focus Cayo Team Replica Force Road Bike 2016 you get just that. With a plethora of top-end components and a lightweight carbon fibre frameset, this bike is ideal for sportives, Gran Fondos and even racing.
As a team replica bike, this model has all of the bells and whistles, with a Fizik Antares R5 Manganese saddle and a Fizik Cyrano R5 seatpost, stem and handlebar. These premium parts further enhance comfort and performance without adding weight.
For the groupset Focus have opted for the smooth and reliable SRAM Force 22 offering. This 11-speed groupset comes with a compact crankset capable of getting up and over the toughest climbs.
The Cayo frame comes with custom pipe diameters for each frame size. This offers an optimal ratio of weight to stiffness without sacrificing comfort. The inner installation of the cables is achieved via a removable plate, which is mounted on the front of the head tube so the cables are routed optimally and cleanly in the frame and are protected from the elements.
Also featured is the tapered headtube. This design reduces steering weight while increasing the headset stiffness and overall handling compliance. Focus' pressfit30 bottom bracket in conjunction with the large connection area to the frame allows for the unencumbered transfer of power through the pedals and down into the road.
Your contact point with the road comes in the form of the Schwalbe Durano Fold 622 X25 clincher tyres coupled with the lightweight Fulcrum CEX 6.5 wheelset. This dynamic duo ensures stability and grip through technical turns and the traction to ensure none of your pedal power goes to waste.
