Focus Izalco Max 8.6 Disc Road Bike 2021
Fast and comfortable, the Focus Izalco Max 8.6 Disc Road Bike blends ergonomics and incredible speed to create an exhilarating ride experience. Built from wind tunnel data, the aero-optimised frameset features Kamm tail profiles, cable integration and an ultralight claimed weight of just 1040 grams for the frame alone. Comfort is aided by a carbon D profile seatpost with a 15mm offset, offering an optimal amount of compliance. To keep geometry race-focussed the seat tube has been moved forward in order to accommodate this offset.
With tyre clearance of up to 28mm, the Izalco is surprisingly versatile for its pace, allowing it to be ridden on rougher roads. Furthering this versatility is the specification of flat mount disc brakes with 160mm rotors, providing phenomenal stopping power in all weather conditions.
Focus’s Rapid Axle Technology (R.A.T) floating axles are featured on the Izalco models, built for quick and easy wheel swaps. They are the fastest thru-axle available, allowing for easy and intuitive release from the frame.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride. For hassle-free home delivery and bike set-up from a qualified mechanic use our Premier Delivery Service.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
