Focus Paralane 9.7 Disc Adventure Road Bike
The Focus Paralane 9.7 Disc Adventure Road Bike is built around a superb lightweight carbon fibre frameset with generous tyre clearance, so you can take the gravel road or towpath when the occasion arises. The endurance geometry puts the rider in a slightly more relaxed position than an outright race bike, but the materials used and specification provided can easily outperform many of its 'racy' rivals.
Shimano provides their highly regarded 105 R7000 groupset, delivering crisp 11-speed shifting and impressive hydraulic disc braking. The compact chainset combines well with a wide-ranging 11-34t cassette so you're never short of gears, whatever the terrain. The aluminium RS170 wheelset from Shimano is durable and brings peace of mind when the road surface is less than perfect. Shod with 28mm Continental tyres, there's plenty of air between the rider and the road surface furthering the overall comfort of the bike. There's clearance for up to 35mm tyres, or simply fit the included Curano mudguards for all-weather riding.
- Focus Lightweight Endurance Carbon frame with comfort improving areas (C.I.A.), Curana mudguards for clever installation and RAT Floating axle
- The endurance geometry is designed for extended tours and the frame for maximum comfort, ensuring even longer cycling enjoyment
- Precise and reliable shifting: Shimano 105 11-speed
- Robust and lightweight Shimano WH-RS170 wheelset
- The maximum tyre clearance of up to 35mm gives you the freedom to ride on any type of surface – whether asphalt or gravel tracks
- Curano mudguards are included and can be mounted quickly
