GT Force Pro 29" Mountain Bike 2020
There can be few quicker ways down a mountain than aboard the Force Pro 29" Mountain Bike from GT, especially if it needs to be ridden back up again. The frame has a FOX Float X2 Performance shock for 150mm of travel whilst the FOX Float Performance Elite 36 fork offers a whopping 170mm, with both rebound and compression adjustment. Using the flip-chip the frame geometry can also be tuned to personal preference with a slacker head angle and longer wheelbase available. A KS Lev Si dropper seatpost gives the ability to lower the saddle at will from the handlebar using the Southpaw Lever.
29” wheels roll more easily over bumps and irregularities, allowing more speed to be carried and momentum maintained, so the Stan's NoTubes Neo/Flow MK3 wheelset and Maxxis Minion tyre pairing used here is definitely a winning combination for anyone who loves to ride fast. Speed also requires control, provided on the Force Pro by SRAM’s G2 RSC hydraulic discs with large Centreline rotors for fade-free power. SRAM also provides the 12-speed GX Eagle shifters and derailleur, giving precise gear changes even under pressure when climbing back to the top of the hill for another run.
