Great value for money if you are looking for a computer for navigation. I don't use the training features so can't comment on that, but I do use the turn by turn navigation for touring and they are very good. Battery is also good enough if you turn off wi-fi, etc when you are riding

Garmin Edge 530 GPS Enabled Cycling Computer
With dynamic performance insights, the Garmin 530 GPS Enabled Cycling Computer offers a complete package for day-to-day riding, on-road safety and advanced training metrics that will help keep you on track for the next event or fitness target. The unit captures data that will benefit everyone, from elite racers to weekend warriors, and with customisable pages, you can set up the computer to deliver exactly what you want to see so it's bespoke to your riding. See how your body adapts to altitude or performs in warmer weather and even get prompts to eat and drink at the right time, like having a coach mounted on your handlebar. Use Garmin Connect or TrainingPeaks to monitor your training schedule to see where you have come from and what lies ahead.
Delivering peace-of-mind for both you and family members, the Garmin 530 lets you share your route through LiveTrack and will automatically report an incident to an emergency contact. With GroupTrack enabled you will always be able to stay in touch with your fellow riders should you become separated out on the road.
The innovative ClimbPro feature lets you really dial in your focus on long climbs with live updates of the remaining gradient, distance and total ascent to perfectly gauge effort. You will be scoring new personal bests and perhaps the odd KOM crown in no time. Garmin's proven navigation and mapping ensure you are always on track and with turn-by-turn navigation, you can easily find your way back home quickly if required.

Reviews
No idea what this gadget does but we got it as a family present at Christmas and he was so happy he didn't get multiple pairs of socks and lynx sets. He has also been out on his bike loads more than usual although that could just be to get away from me and the kids after 5 days off altogether over Christmas and New year.

About Garmin
Data, in the hands of the riders who act on it.
Garmin has been navigating riders, runners and explorers since 1989. From the original GPS unit to today's Edge cycling computers and Forerunner watches, every product is built to put rich, accurate data into the hands of the people who'll act on it.
The Edge range is the most widely used cycling computer line in the world. Mapping, power, training load, structured workouts, group ride messaging, incident detection — Edge has set the bar most other head units now chase.
