Garmin Forerunner 55 GPS Watch
Simple to use yet packed with features, the Garmin Forerunner 55 GPS Watch is a solid choice for those new to running and more experienced athletes alike. There are a number of updates and new features that sit in addition to those on the Forerunner 45 predecessor, including Womens Health Tracking, Finish Time, Recovery Time and Race Predictor. Not only does this smartwatch track time, speed, distance and heart rate, but it can also give you more detail on your activities, offers suggested workouts and training plans, and PacePro™ delivers guidance based on a course or chosen distance.
Forerunner 55 Highlights
The satellite sensors - GPS, Galileo and GLONASS - ensure extremely accurate data, and battery life is long, at 20 hours in GPS mode or two weeks when in smartwatch mode. This Garmin watch can be used for a range of activities, be that running, on the roads, track or treadmill, or swimming, cycling or yoga, among other things. When you're not pounding the pavements, you can take advantage of a number of wellness features to monitor your energy, stress and recovery, and the watch can be worn all day to count steps, calories and monitor sleep.
Activities will upload automatically to the Garmin Connect™ app, and you can customise the interface in the Connect IQ™ Store for a more personalised setup.

Reviews
After using the 55 for a couple of months I’ve found it to be very good. It’s a very smart non intrusive watch packed with great features, I personally am very impressed with pace pro and hoping it will help me nail a sub 20min 5km in the future! One thing I would pick out to be a downside would be the screen resolution but given the price I can’t complain if the screen was as good as an Apple watch then you’d be paying a lot lot more! Great watch and I’d recommend to any keen runner looking to take training to the next level!
