Genesis Croix De Fer 10 Flat Bar Disc Gravel Bike 2020
By taking the winning formula of their evergreen Croix de Fer and making a few small changes, Genesis has produced the Croix de Fer 10 Flat Bar Disc Gravel Bike; a fun, robust commuter that can handle city traffic and poor road surfaces with aplomb. The steel frame and fork provide a forgiving ride whilst the switch to a flat handlebar offers greater confidence and a more upright position for a better view of the road. Maxxis Overdrive Excel tyres also work well on the streets, with their large volume protecting against bumps and potholes whilst still rolling efficiently.
Shimano’s 9-speed Sora groupset and MT200 hydraulic disc brakes are both reliable and simple to operate, with crisp shifting and dependable stopping power available on tap. Rack and mudguard mounts add a good level of practicality, meaning that the bike can be easily set up for use in any weather conditions.
