Haibike Lyke SE Electric Mountain Bike 2023
The Haibike Lyke SE Electric Mountain Bike sits at the top of this model's range. It brings together a lightweight and stiff carbon frame, 140mm suspension front and rear, top-end Shimano components and a Fazua Ride60 system.
Fazua's Ride60 250w motor is light, strong, and compact for aesthetically pleasing integration. This is paired with a Fazua Energy 430Wh battery which sits within the frame and assistance is delivered in a smooth, natural-feeling manner up to a maximum speed of 15.5mph / 25kph. A ring control unit on the handlebar allows the rider to select support mode and use the walk assist mode with ease, while a hub on the top tube features five LEDs that provide information about battery life and mode, and even has a USB-C charging port for compatible devices. The Fazua app connects the system and allows full customisation, and charging is just as simple as the rest of the system with a charge port integrated into the frame.
Shimano's 12-speed MTB-specific XTR groupset is designed to meet the needs of the most demanding riders, offering precision and integration. Featuring advanced technologies throughout, shifting is incredibly fast and accurate and the gear range is wide. Shadow technology stabilises the system, reducing chain slap and drop. Hydraulic disc brakes deliver reliable, powerful braking no matter the conditions.
A FOX Transfer FACTORY dropper post allows the saddle to be moved out of the way fast for steep descents and big drops. Control across trickier terrain is maximised by FOX FACTORY 140mm suspension components, with a 36 Float Factory fork up front and a Float X Factory shock to the back.
Mavic's E- Crossmax XL R Carbon 29" wheels are versatile, strong and light, capable across all terrains when climbing and descending.
