The steel braking surface is riveted to an aluminium carrier to save weight and help dissipate the heat better, leading to an improved, fade-free braking performance.

Hi will these rotors work with ultegra callipers, they are for a pair of Hope wheels I have purchased from you and I plan to use as a second pair of wheels for my cyclo x bike, my present wheels have Ultegra disc rotors, but centre lock.
