Mavic Aksium Elite 25 Front Wheel 2015
With the Aksium Elite 25 Front Wheel Mavic have continued to prove their place as one of the top wheel manufactures in road cycling. This wheel is crammed full of Mavic's signature technological expertise. The Aksium Elite 25 features Force Transfer System Light Reinforcement of key transmission components meaning that the contact area between the pawl and the hub body is reinforced by two stainless steel inserts, which allows the use of a 100% aluminium body, giving the wheel the feel and roll of one at a far higher price range.
Usiné Brut Control produces a durable breaking surface that is precisely CNC-machined. Mavic are not one of the household names for wheels for nothing; they use only the highest quality sealed cartridge bearings as well as featuring double sealing together with tight C3 internal clearance.
The wheel is made of S6000 Aluminium and drilled traditionally with H2 reinforcement. The H2 local strengthens the rim where the spokes exert the greatest stress, making for a longer lasting wheel. The Aksium 25 Front wheel is recommended for tyre sizes 19 to 32mm.
The inclusion of the Mavic Yksion Elite Clincher Guard 25mm tyre rounds off this elite package. The tyre sheds weight int the rim to sleeve joint as well as through the light, foldable beads.
