Wheels to help you onto the top step of the podium, the Mavic Comete Pro Carbon SL UST Clincher Wheelset 2018 has been designed for speed, power transfer and aerodynamic efficiency. Exceptionally stiff, this 25mm deep, full-carbon rim ensures all your power is being transferred and the UST tubeless system further reduces rolling resistance.
The Universal Standard for Tubeless (UST) system improves traction and control for confidence in corners and on fast descents, whilst adding comfort and the consequent ability to go harder and faster for longer. Progressive aerodynamic technology offers low drag and high stability in crosswinds, so no matter the conditions, you can compete with those using far shallower rims.
The iTgMax carbon clincher design features an inner rim bed and multiple layers of carbon fibre resulting in a one-piece rim contour. Laser machining ensures the most efficient braking surface in both wet and dry conditions and allows the rim to sustain a high braking heat.
An Instant Drive 360 freewheel engages with lightning speed and further keeps the weight low and the large contactless rubber seal reduces friction for smoother rolling. The fast and lightweight Yksion Pro UST tyres provide the perfect blend of low rolling resistance, light weight and puncture resistance.
