With a refined aerodynamic profile, sophisticated design and high-grade materials, the Mavic Cosmic SLR 65 Disc Wheelset is the ideal option for the solo breakaway specialist, the marauding sprinter or the triathlete when tackling flat to heavily undulating terrain.

A refined grade of carbon is laid in a specific format via Mavic’s Fore Carbon Technology concept to lend heightened lateral stiffness to the rim construction while keeping its weight low. The stiffness to weight ratio of the rims is improved further by incorporating directly moulded spoke thread inserts, that negate the need for upper bridge drillings. This holeless upper bridge format also cancels the need to use rim tape when installing tubeless-ready or standard clincher tyres. A 65mm deep rim profile, shaped meticulously in the wind tunnel, lowers aerodynamic drag markedly and improves crosswind stability. The 19mm internal rim width helps tyres realise lower rolling resistance and heightened comfort by spreading their cross-sectional profiles and supporting their sidewalls.

Mavic’s Infinity hubs grant a solid base for the elliptical aero spokes to anchor into, helping to even their build tensions for improved pedalling efficiency, reliability and disc brake modulation. The Instant Drive 360 freehub body provides rapid engagement under pedalling input.
