Prepared to shred through an array of terrain with speed, Mavic's Crossmax Elite 27.5 MTB Wheelset 2018 has been designed and fine tuned to present the perfect cross country wheelset that excels up hills as well as it does on flats, with improved traction control and stability.
Constructed with high end, fast and light components, the Crossmax Elite inherits its Maxtal aluminium rim profile from its higher end brethren. Built with a 22mm internal width for increased control, and machined with the ISM 4D process to ensure lightweight performance and improved inertia for powerful accelerations and increased outputs. Without compromised strength, this lightweight construction has a smooth finish for aerodynamic advantages, precision control and high-speed rides.
Excelling up hills and shredding through flats with power, the ITS-4 hubs ensure responsive rigid performance. Featuring wider flanges for increased strength and spoke inertia, four internal pawls effectively provide instant transmissions, assuring you of responsive pedal efficiency.
Accommodating 6 bolt discs for disc brake systems, this incredibly compliant wheelset has the capacity to run a tubeless setup when coupled with UST tubeless tyres, inviting you to unleash its hidden potential of increased comfort, traction and puncture resistance.
