Ideal for those newly ventured into the trail riding spectrum, the Mavic XA Light 29 MTB Wheelset 2018 presents a desirable balance between high performance, quality and price.

Constructed from lightweight yet strong S6106 aluminium, this simplistic design presents durable strength able to withstand the demands of modern day trail riding. Coupled with a 25mm rim that can fit tyre widths up to 2.5", this wheelset offers sufficient traction control and comfort for an array of terrains and fast paced cornering.

Completed with the TS-2 hub, Mavic have ensured that their affordable wheelset provides smooth rolling resistance with increased pedal efficiency. Encompassing two internal pawls the TS-2 hub effectively transfers the riders input into excelling outputs. Combined with the rigid alloy monobloc axle you can be sure to push full throttle with minimal flex from the rear hub.

Proving versatile, the UST designed rim enables either clincher or tubeless tyres to be equipped, giving you the option to benefit from increased puncture resistance, traction and comfort when utilising the tubeless tyre capacity.
