- The double-drop chainstays create a very efficient box-shape behind the BB. This increases stiffness, reduces weight and boosts tire clearance.
- The WI.DE. maximizes tire clearance with its double-drop chainstays and a front-derailleur-free frame design for 1x or 2x setups. Using 1x cranks, there is no inner ring or front derailleur to limit tire clearance. You can either run that as a classic 1x setup as most of our customers do. Or you can go 2x using the Classified system: light, fast, very efficient and clean.
- As a result, the WI.DE. comfortably accepts up to 2.4” (61mm) tires in 650b (or 46mm on 700c wheels). Actual tire width depends on tire model and rim width, so measure instead of relying on the tire label.
