Orbea Gain D40 Electric Road Bike 2022
The Orbea Gain D40 Electric Road Bike is an assisted road bike designed to elevate your performance on the tarmac. Integrated into the downtube is a lightweight 248Wh battery, which pairs with an Ebikemotion X35 motor to deliver 40Nm of torque and 250W of power. This lightweight system retains the responsiveness of a road bike and sees the motor mounted in the rear hub. This delivers a sleek aesthetic, further compounded by the Orbea ICR cable integration.
The frame uses Orbea endurance geometry to retain an upright position and is equipped with a carbon fork to damp road buzz. A Shimano Tiagra drivetrain offers smooth shifting, reminiscent of that on high-end drivetrains, in a lightweight 10-speed package. The Orbea Ready GR wheels are lightweight and durable, and the 30c Hutchinson tyres boost traction and compliance on the asphalt.

Built, Checked, Tuned and Tested
All our bikes are fully built, checked, tuned and tested by our Cytech qualified mechanics and then securely packaged, ready for delivery. All you have to do is add the pedals (if included), attach the handlebars to the stem and tighten them following the included detailed instructions or by watching our video and using the provided FREE tools. All bikes collected from our shop, are built, tested and ready to ride.
Please note, occasionally, manufacturers may change the specification without notice. Bicycles do not come with pedals unless otherwise specified. Bikes ordered for delivery will not arrive with the pedals installed, please refer to the owners manual and pedal installation guides provided for guidance. We do not install accessories to bikes, including mudguards. Bikes ordered for delivery that have tubeless compatible tyres and rims will arrive with inner tubes installed or with tubeless valves installed, this will be brand dependent. Sealant is available to be purchased separately.
