The good - overall well thought out ski backpack. Great fit and build quality you'd expect from Osprey. The plastic frame gives the bag structure when not completely full and prevents items in the bag digging into your back (it's not a back protector however). Capacity and storage options work well for resort skiing and short tours. The helmet carrier is the best I've seen on any ski bag! Also nice to see hip pockets and a good sized goggle pocket. The bag is also slim enough to ride chairlifts without having to remove it. The not so good - compared to the rest of the bag, the compartment for avvy gear lacks some refinement. There is no pouch for the shovel blade, so it can't be stored quite a neatly as in other bags I've used (Evoc/Deuter). There is full zip access around three sides of the bag, so getting the kit out in an emergency would be easy - the zips are also chunkier to help with this. If you're looking for a 20litre-ish ski backpack, this is a very strong option!
